Jake has 20 years experience as a researcher and consultant in the sustainability field. He has carried out work for a wide range of clients including Welsh Government, Defra, Ministry of Justice, Department of Health, Sustain and UCL Energy Institute. He spent six years at the London School of Economics carrying out action research with community groups, giving him extensive experience of practical local project support.
He has extensive experience of helping organisations develop more effective and efficient ways of responding to complex problems, by applying evidence, theory and research techniques.
He is skilled in writing accessible reports and developing practical tools and recommendations based on complex research for diverse audiences, including: tool kits for community groups and practitioners; and the development of a practical framework to support flood affected communities in Wales.
He has considerable experience of developing and delivering projects with a wide range of different stakeholders.
